Kids Ages 14–17:

  • Welcome to use the Fitness Center independently after completing the Junior Fitness Certification.
  • Must follow all posted Fitness Center rules and demonstrate responsible behavior.

Kids Under Age 14:

  • Must complete the Junior Fitness Certification.
  • Not permitted to use any weight equipment (including machines, free weights, and resistance equipment).
  • May use cardio equipment only, with exception of stair climber, and must be accompanied at all times by:
  • A parent/guardian, or
  • A Moon Valley Country Club certified personal trainer.



  • Children under 16 yrs of age are not permitted in spa/steam room.
  • Children under 16 yrs of age may play racquetball, but they must get permission from front desk or fitness center staff. 
  • Please NO food in the downstairs or upstairs gym area.
  • NO running. NO playing on elevators. NO bouncing balls in lobby.
  • Appropriate foot attire is required in the gym area. (sneakers, rubber soles, etc)
  • Have fun and enjoy a great workout!

 

Fitness Classes

The classes below are complimentary and accessible to Clubhouse, Sports and Golf Members. To signup, log into your Club Automation App by clicking below:

Club Automation
Women's Strength Training - Tu/Th 10:15-11:15AM

This class focuses on assisting women develop full body strength with an emphasis on the lower body (especially the glutes) using a variety of free-weights, machines and bodyweight exercises. Pull-ups will also be emphasized with the goal of increasing strength so that consecutive pull-ups can be accomplished by each participant.

 

Senior Functional Strength - Tu/Th 4:30-5PM

This class focuses on developing strength in the senior population using "functional" exercises that will carry over to real life activities using tools such as TRXs, bands, dumbbells and bodyweight. Additional areas of focus will include balance, flexibility, joint mobility and core strength.

 

Quick HIIT - Tu/Th 5-5:30PM

This class focuses on developing muscular and cardiorespiratory endurance through the use of high-intensity interval training exercises.

 

Boot Camp - Sa 10-11AM

This class will focus on a wide variety of resistance training and cardio exercises to build full body strength and endurance as well as cardiovascular fitness.

 

Strength - Sa 11:15AM-12:15PM

This class is similar in design as the Women's Strength Class but is for both genders with more of a full body emphasis as opposed to primarily a lower body focus.
