The Kirkendoll Performance Golf Institute

Want to Play Better, More Satisfying Golf?

We can help you.
1. Playing better depends mostly on what skills you possess.
2. The skills you possess are based on how you move
3. Changing how you move can be fast fun when done right…or difficult and a waste of time if approached incorrectly.

Our Approach
At KPGI, we use a comprehensive approach that we have been refining for nearly a decade.

We approach golf like sports – we like to inspire people to play golf like an athlete.

You can benefit from our extensive research and experience.

Changing How You Move
We view your situation from two key perspectives…what are your current patterns, and what are your physical characteristics and capabilities?

What your body is currently capable of is a key factor in any program to improve.  Why work on technique that your body will simply not execute?

Conversely, maybe you just need proper feedback about changing the movement habit you currently have.

Motor Programs and Patterning
All movements done with repetition, whether putting on clothes or making a golf swing, are habituated to varying degrees.  With habituation comes diminished awareness.

Making changes to habituated movement requires that you first gain accurate awareness.

All changes go through three distinct phases (we refer to it as U-A-I), and they are always done in order.  Skip a step and you cannot make your attempted improvement.

Approach Golf Like an Athlete
We hope to inspire you to approach golf like an athlete.  Athlete golfers know that their physical condition can limit how they play.  They also know that they need a systematic path toward better golf…not just a tip of the week.

Approaching golf like an athlete allows you to make real changes more quickly.  Moving better, playing better and the satisfaction of really being better… that is what our approach offers you.

How to Get Started
We offer a number of programs, from 1 on 1 private lessons, to workshops and large group outings.

Your best start is with a private evaluation with Tyler Kirkendoll (Founder) or Sinclair Torrilhon (Senior Instructor).  You will gain a greater understanding of how you move, how your current condition and pattern programming affect how you move, and how you can best improve.

Tyler or Sinclair will give you a suggested program that may include pattern training and / or physical exercise.  You can then use follow up training to move you along your program (pattern training with Tyler or Sinclair, or physical training with Tyler or one of his approved conditioning experts).

Your Next Step
Your next best step is to schedule an evaluation.  You will learn about your specific situation and what will help you the most.

You will also receive additional material about pattern training and how to reprogram movement habits.

Full evaluations last about 1.5 hours and are $180.  Physical evaluations last 1 hour and are $120.

What Else Should I Know?
Making changes, in any area of life, can be an experience filled with exhilaration, or anxiety, depending on your perspective and approach.

We have had the great experience of working with and helping several hundred players.

Some are household names and among the top 100 players on the men’s and women’s circuits.  Others are friends and neighbors that bring us great feelings when we hear their stories of accomplishment.

If you want to move better, play better, and experience being better, we can and we want to be a part of that journey with you.

Call us at 602-942-0000 ext. 4570 and let’s get started.
